At what time can I arrive to the property?

Please consider that our Check In time is at 3:00 PM and Check Out Time at 10:00 AM. We appreciate your punctuality in this matter, since we need to get everything ready for our next guests.

Where is Casa Caribeña located?

Tulum is home to one of the world’s most stunning underwater cave systems, not to mention that the coral reefs that protect our beautiful beach is part of the world’s second largest barrier reefs.
Casa Caribeña is located in a special ecological zone that restricts development, and has a special conservation provisions to protect the fragile ecology in the area. We ask for your cooperation using and respecting our natural surroundings, cooperating to preserve this unique ecological area. Some suns-cream can kill coral, fish and pollute the water. Wear only bio-friendly sunblock (the fish at the cenotes and reefs will also appreciate it).

Do you provide Wifi?

We provide Wifi complimentary with your stay. Routers and extenders are on each floor so you can pick up the strongest signal near you. You will receive the Access code upon your arrival.

I’ve never rented a vacation home before. How does the experience differ from renting a hotel room for my vacation?

An individually owned home is more spacious and more private than a hotel room. You will have the entire home, including a fully-equipped kitchen and often more than one bath, at your disposal. Cleaning service is also included on the rate, just ask the reservation coordinator. In comparing cost, you will likely find that the cost per bedroom to rent a vacation home is significantly less than the same number of hotel rooms.

Is Tankah and Tulum a safe place?

This has a frequently asked question by travelers. And the answer is YES! Tulum has a low crime rate, so chances are that the city where you live has a significantly higher crime rate that we do here in a small town llike Tulum! The majority of the properties here at Tankah, are Vacation Homes, so the people around are travelers as well.

Which Airport do we fly into?

Cancun´s International Airport will be your only choice. This Airport is located about 117 km north of Tankah. It will take around 1hr 30 minutes to your private shuttle to get to Casa Caribeña. You should find direct flights from almost any major airport in the World.

What will I need to bring with me?

You need only to arrive with your personal items and your groceries. All of our properties come complete with bed and bath products and paper products. For Grocery shopping, our staff can assist you with an additional fee.

Are all the utilities on in my vacation home when I arrive?

Yes electricity, water, cable or satellite TV and Internet are included in the rental so you don’t have to worry about anything. Everything will be on. We revise everything in the property to prepare it for your arrival.

Is the housekeeping service included during my stay?

We want you to enjoy your visit to the Riviera Maya and Tulum right up to the last minute. So it is included in your booking fee

Is laundry included in the service?

Our staff provide the laundry service for you for $10 usd/load. They will leave it clean and folded on your bed.

Can I make reservations at the last minute?

Yes, although it may be difficult during high season, don’t ever hesitate to call at the last minute—there just may be a cancellation. Always ask!

Is the house non-smoking?

Do you allow pets?

If I have a problem with the home what do I do?

We are always here to ensure you have a wonderful stay with us. We will provide you with a 24- hour emergency contact to call us in the very rare event you need us right away.
